TrueConf has developed the first hardware-based solution for VCC
Video conferencing software developer TrueConf has created hardware-based system for visual communication– TrueConf Terminal. The application supports HD video conferencing on standard internet-channels and across local enterprise networks. The TrueConf Terminal setup includes a hardware-based codec, touchpad, LCD-display, HD web-camera and speakerphone.
TrueConf developers have developed a HD quality hardware-based video-conferencing solution: a hardware platform and integrated software suite that unites the TrueConf Software Platform with a 9-inch touch-sensitive control panel, 22-inch LCD-display, HD web-camera, echo cancellation speakerphone and transceiver.
To complement the hardware, TrueConf has also developed a modern control interface based on touch-sensitive technologies. TrueConf Terminal can also be integrated with the software-based video conferencing server TrueConf Server. The software suite and hardware are fully compatible, and users of the TrueConf Terminal have access to a wide range of collaborative tools.
While designing their new hardware-based video conferencing solution, TrueConf focused on a new market niche of executive visual communication systems. TrueConf Terminal is designed for conference halls, meeting rooms, and executive offices. TrueConf Terminal is fully compatible with software-based TrueConf applications, enabling its easy integration with a pre-existing corporate video conferencing network.
Fast and easy updates are amongst the beneficial features of TrueConf Terminal. The company also offers custom hardware configuration corresponding to our clients’ needs. TrueConf Terminal enables users to attach additional facilities for video display and recording, sound capture and playback.
To integrate TrueConf Terminal to an enterprise network that uses TrueConf Server, one needs only set up the equipment in a workplace or conference hall and connect it to the Internet. The price of the basic terminal system is $3,500, and is available immediately. The terminal super-set includes a modern pan tilt zoom web-camera with remote directional and zoom control.
Stanislav Soldatov, TrueConf technical director, talks about the development of TrueConf Terminal: “As a leading supplier of software video conferencing systems in Russia, we decided to expand the activities of hardware-based systems markets at once. We are offering the first Russian hardware-based Video Conferencing solution. Our experts constantly improve our products to cover available market niches, and designing a hardware-based solution for visual communication was a logical step. We will occupy the market of video conferencing systems for executive classes and conference rooms, as this is the most dynamic and promising environment for this technology.”
